We are saying goodbye to 2019 and welcoming 2020, are you game?

I recently renewed my subscription with The Economist — the lady told me it would start by 1st week of Jan 2020 as they needed some processing time. I was a bit disappointed as I would have missed the special end-of-year edition of it. By surprise, my digital edition was activated over the weekend.

Listening and reading The Economist right through during a raining night in Taipei, viewing the world this year from The Economist, I was also doing my personal year-end review. The world has changed so much this year. I can’t resist not to ask myself:

“Vivian, what have you done in 2019?”

“Vivian, are you game for 2020?

On the last day of 2019, I am doing my ritual of reviewing for 2019. I started this habit years ago — I think it is good as it helps me keep my focus. Often, I asked myself the following questions, and I like to share them with you today.

“Are you a better person?”

“Did you accomplish something that you did not think you could have?”

“Name 3 things that you are proud of. Why?”

“Name 3 things that you are not happy about. Why? What would you do differently if you could do it again?”
