Facebook “Like”

My friend Samantha called me one night while I was surfing on Facebook.

“Vivian, can you do me a favour? Don’t push the “Like” buttons on any of Amy’s posts on Facebook!” she hollered.

Samantha is a girl I know since childhood. Amy used to hang out with Samantha when I first moved back to Taipei. I haven’t seen Amy for a while; perhaps they are not closely affiliated anymore. But I know they went to the same high school and remained close friends until early 30. All three of us are friends on Facebook.

I couldn’t resist to ask, “Why did you ask me to do that? You have issues with her?”

“No. I just don’t want her posts to have that many “Likes” on Facebook.” Samantha responded.

“Sammy, are you sure about this? You are not in high school anymore.” I am not satisfied with her answer.

After I hang up with Samantha, I couldn’t believe she let her jealous took her reasonings away. I did not know she is this jealous of Amy.

Well, from the surface, it is not hard to understand why Samantha is bitter and jealous. Amy…
